Anastasia Giorgiova discovered her love for dance at age 4 and enjoyed her teen years performing in many company productions with Ballet Northeast, in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  She has a strong foundation in ballet, jazz, contemporary, Brazilian samba, and burlesque, however, it was the art of belly dance that stole her heart.  She found her soul connected to Middle Eastern dance during the search to learn more about her own Lebanese ethnic background.  After moving to Los Angeles in the late 2000s, she began studying with various mentors and performing raqs sharqi.

IrinaXara has been engaging audiences since childhood through dance, and began studying Middle Eastern-derived dance forms in 2005. Her influences are a collage from all over the map. Her foundations are in raqs sharqi and a variety of Middle Eastern and Arabic folkdances. Her current emphasis is on performing and reflecting upon the dance stylizations of Anatolian, Iraqi, Iranian and al-Sham cultures, as well as American Cabaret stylizations and theatrical fusion.
