WOW! We got some amazing news this week. Sekhmet Dance Company won! Deepest gratitude and a million thank yous for the Cairo Shimmyquake Virtual Bellydance Festival - Fan Favorite 2021 Award! It is such a thrill to be recognized by our peers, and the largest bellydance festival in Southern California. What an honor!! Thank you!
Also a reminder that our Period Makeup Workshop is 2 - 4:00 pm (PST) this Saturday, July 17th. Let's go back in time, the possibilities are endless! Bring a photo of the period look you want to create, I will guide you through the basics. $40 suggested donation.

It's finally here! This Sunday July 18th, Siren Sunday's return---FREEDOM TO DANCE---will be virtually held at the ORIGINAL Dance Garden LA location, 3191 Casitas Ave #112, Los Angeles, CA 90039. This will be a beautiful send off to this incredible space that has helped so many grow their dance.
In other news, live shows are back! I had my first live show in longer than I can remember at Cafe Sevilla, Restaurant and Tapas bar in Costa Mesa, and it was off the hook! We are planning this as an ongoing gig, so stay tuned for scheduling and details!
