CA LEGENDS OF BELLYDANCE GALA
Last weekend was a joyous annual reunion of the CA Legends of Bellydance! We hope you caught it either in in person or virtually. I think the link stayed live for a week---so even if you missed it, hope you caught it afterwards. Thank you Dance Garden LA and all the wonderful dancers who took part. SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION
We're baaaaaack! The heat may have blocked us from Dance Garden for our first class, but that didn't stop us---thank you all who joined me yesterday. A new 6-week series is up and running, the dance must go on! 6 Week Session: September 10,17,24, October 8,15, 22
10 AM Live and on Zoom from Evolution Dance Studio in Hollywood.
Belly Dance technique, drills, skills and combinations tailored to the advanced beginner, Intermediate and advanced dancer. It's a great way to perfect your technique, add layers and add more dimension to your dance skills. In this session we will focus on rhythms and corresponding combinations to enhance your dance!
11:10 AM Live and on Zoom from Evolution Dance Studio in Hollywood
In this class we focus on Choreographies, group work and solid technique. This class is the home of the Sekhmet Dance Collective and provides performance opportunities for those who wish to perform.Attendance of the 10 AM class is helpful but not mandatory. Performance is absolutely not mandatory! We WILL be prepping for various shows and the Dance Garden Fiesta to be held December 18th!

Stage and Film Face
September 18 10 AM - 12 PM PST
In this workshop you will learn theatrical makeup basics and craft your stage face from start to finish. If you're feeling more advanced, try a period or specialty makeup look! Free consultations available for all participants!
Scary Face
October 9 10 AM - 12 PM PST
Makeup workshops are back, just in time for Halloween! This workshop will focus on ghoulish makeups for spooky seasonal performances. I'll be teaching the basics for creating ghoulish, skull faces but the skills all apply to any basic scary look. Zombies, Ghosts, Witches, demons and Vampires can all apply!
