Raqs Tiki Kaua'i Belly Dance Intensive is a four day event with workshops for all levels of Belly Dance enthusiasts and musicians. We have a wonderful Meet and Greet for participants on Thursday, Sept 29, and then starting on Friday, Sept 30 we have three days of workshops with visiting, professional, award winning dancers from around the world.
On Friday night we will enjoy a beautiful luau and absorb some of the lovely island culture.
We also have a Glittering Gala on Saturday, Oct 1st at the Kapa'a Hongwanji Temple. Our Featured Artists will WOW you with their sparkly talent in a beautiful show.
On Oct 2 we end the weekend with a Hafla (Party) where workshop participants can perform for each other and their friends and family.
On Monday, October 3rd we have a professional photo shoot on a lovely beach location.

SPOOKY SEASON IS CREEPING UP SOON!
SCARY FACE MAKEUP WORKSHOP
October 9 10 AM - 12 PM PST
Makeup workshops are back, just in time for Halloween! This workshop will focus on ghoulish makeups for spooky seasonal performances. I'll be teaching the basics for creating ghoulish, skull faces but the skills all apply to any basic scary look. Zombies, Ghosts, Witches, demons and Vampires can all apply!

Belly Dance technique, drills, skills and combinations tailored to the advanced beginner, Intermediate and advanced dancer. It's a great way to perfect your technique, add layers and add more dimension to your dance skills. In this session we will focus on rhythms and corresponding combinations to enhance your dance!
11:10 AM Live and on Zoom from Evolution Dance Studio in Hollywood.
In this class we focus on Choreographies, group work and solid technique. This class is the home of the Sekhmet Dance Collective and provides performance opportunities for those who wish to perform.Attendance of the 10 AM class is helpful but not mandatory. Performance is absolutely not mandatory! We WILL be prepping for various shows and the Dance Garden Fiesta to be held December 18th!
