FIESTA PREP SERIES REMINDERS FOR STUDENTS: 4 - 1 1/2 hour class/rehearsals to prep for the Dance Garden Winter Fiesta Saturdays from 10 -11:30 (PST) Live and zoom In person classes are preferable as I will need ALL BODIES in classes for staging. ZAHRA ZUHAIR
We're honored to have DGLA co-founder Zahra Zuhair joining us virtually for our Winter Fiesta! Zahra has been a professional oriental dancer for over 40 years. She has trained and influenced many of today’s international, bellydance stars. Zahra performs and teaches workshops worldwide.
She also organizes dance tours to Egypt under the name, “Magical Mystical Egypt” as well as producing her annual dance retreat, “Ya Helwa”, in Southern Ohio. Zahra recently relocated to the Columbus, Ohio area where she teaches regular weekly classes. Along with Jenna Rose, Zahra co-founded DanceGardenLA in 2006 as a space to celebrate the art of Middle Eastern dance.
